According to Jim Reyland, president of Audio Productions, live video distribution services are a natural progression for the 23 year-old company which has distributed live audio from its Music Row studios since 1985.

 

“For many years, we’ve been facilitating radio tours that allow artists to talk on the air with a different radio station every few minutes without leaving our studio chair. With Audio Vision, clients will have similar convenience using live video to reach television and cable networks as well as individual stations and other resources.”

 

Reyland envisions diverse applications and clientele for this new service, especially since Audio Vision is the only provider of live video distribution in the Music Row area. “We expect this to be a great convenience for Music Row and the surrounding business community. In addition to recording artists and performers, this service can be utilized by visiting media personalities, a University professor who is an expert in a particular field, a corporate executive, or other individuals who may simply need to broadcast into a video conference room in one or more out-of-town locales,” Reyland explains.

 

Audio Vision can also take pre-recorded video from a variety of formats and instantly distribute it point-to-point to thousands of satellite and VYVX network outlets nationwide.

 

“Another big advantage we offer to producers is our rate structure,” emphasizes Reyland. “We are able to provide this service very economically because we don’t have the large overhead that video production and video editing studios typically have.”
